A mosaic dolphin made from 1/4-inch plywood and iridescent glass with a contrasting dark grey grout. The dolphin measures approximately 10-inches long.

The picture is made from 21 home-printed wooden tiles that have been mounted to a 1/4-inch backboard and framed in solid pine. The frame is stained, and the whole picture is protected with clear lacquer. Each wooden tile represents a book cover from the Longmire book series by Craig Johnson. I use the same method of printing to make coasters.
