A cozy outdoor space designed for smoking, grilling, drinking and socializing.

The 15’ x 18’ base is a 6-inch-thick, steel-reinforced concrete slab with a non-slip Polyaspartic coating. The Polyaspartic coating is ideal for outdoor spaces as it is four times stronger than epoxy coatings and is 100% UV-resistant - guaranteed to never yellow or fade in the sun.

The main structure is made primarily from pressure treated, stained and sealed lumber. Black, powder coated, high strength and corrosion resistant aluminum balusters maintain an open structure, adding character and a contrast to the wood. The roof is constructed from 7/16-inch OSB sheathing with a synthetic underlayment and 3-tab black onyx roof shingles.

Electricity was installed, with cables being run through galvanized conduit to outlets for the smoker and fridge. Lights were added that can be controlled from a mobile phone app. An oscillating fan will be added later which will also be controlled from the same phone app. The structure also includes homemade saloon swing doors, a homemade name sign, and several individually decorated bar stools.
